At Last....

Home Sweet Home

Many of you have been asking me to post pics of our cottage on the blog, so here they are, eventually. Our rustic home sweet home, farm cottage. I have excluded pics of the utility room, bathroom, toilet and storerooms, as I don't think they are really of interest. We love our cottage and enjoy living in the beautiful countryside.

London - Here We Come

Daniella and I decided to take another trip to London during the summer holiday, not realising how busy it would be. We only had time for the London Eye, the London Aquarium, Hamley's and a spot of lunch in between before we had to head home again. It was a good day out anyway.

Avon Beach - Christchurch

We had a lovely day out in Christchurch with Garth and Maranda and a barbecue on the beach in the evening. Of course Cassie came too and we almost had a seagull to add to our meal.... silly dog!

Butlins - A night Out

Faith, Sam, Daniella and I, had a night out to see the X-Factor singers. The girls were so excited to see Same Difference and Ruth Lorenzo in action.

We all decided to try our hands at mini golf. It was great fun. Even the little ones enjoyed it!

We went to the beach a few times and Daniella, Sam, Jenna and Lily had loads of fun in the sand. Even Allan enjoyed making sand castles with the girls....

Butlins

Between Allan, Faith and the girls and Daniella and I, we decided to get together during the summer holiday. We went to Butlins, Skegness, in Lincolnshire. The resort is huge with so much to do, including an amazing water theme park with various water rides (no cameras allowed), live shows, miniature golf, activity areas, restaurants, the beach etc etc. Due to road works and traffic, after a 5 hour drive, we finally arrived.

TJ in Legoland

Daniella's best friend from South Africa, TJ, came over to England with his mum, Tracey, to visit her sister. Much to Daniella's delight, we were able to catch up at Legoland and had a fantastic day out. We were also joined by Tracey's sister and gorgeous little girl, as well as Andre and Nadine with their kids, Kayley and Jeffrey, whom we haven't seen for years! Daniella and TJ were up to their usual tricks and nothing much has changed, even after 2 years, Daniella is still carrying TJ around....
