Daniella Turns 11

On Wednesday 14th January, Daniella turned 11! She woke up to her bedroom full of balloons, a little cake with the candle lit and cards and pressies everywhere. She had a great day! Last Sunday we took too friends to the movies and out to lunch instead of having a party this year.

The Big Move

As you all know, we moved into a farm cottage in October 2008. This is the reason for the break in blog entries.... ok, I know, I could have got my act into gear a little quicker, but then Christmas came along and hey ho, here we are in the middle of January! Anyway, at least I've caught up now!

Frosty Morning

On Saturday the 10th January, we woke up to a winter wonderland. Very cold, but extremely beautiful! Our cottage and surroundings were full of ice.

DisneyLand Paris - Fireworks

The spectacular event started after the countdown at 12 midnight!

DisneyLand Paris - Dancing Shows

During the early evening, they have all sorts of shows with dancing and singing. The costumes are fab!

DisneyLand Paris - Night Lights

At night, they switch on the lights. I think the pics speak for themselves.

DisneyLand Paris - The Parade

The Parade is amazing! The floats are just out of this world. So much work goes into each one and as they come past, they play their own theme music. I could have put hundreds of pics with this post!

DisneyLand Paris - Princess D

Look at Princess D on her throne!

DisneyLand Paris - Pirates

This is the best! The spookier the ride, the better!

DisneyLand Paris - Frontierland

Frontierland was cold and icy with a wonderful boat ride, amongst other...

DisneyLand Paris - Cars

Daniella had a ball sitting in the vintage cars!

DisneyLand Paris

What a wonderful gift! Paris for New Year. Daniella and I set off for Paris and spend the whole day and night of the 31st December in DisneyLand Paris. As we arrived, it started snowing - how magical. After a day full of fun, the fireworks started at midnight. They were stunning!

Christmas - 2008

I still love having an icy cold Christmas. It just makes it so much more magical. We had a lovely Christmas Eve with Germain, Mum, Jeremy, Caroline, Garth and Maranda - with too much food, as always. On Christmas morning, Santa had been! There were presents everywhere!

Hampton Court Palace

Each year, during the Christmas Season, Daniella and I skate at the Winchester Cathedral. This year, we decided to add Hampton Court Palace to our list. It was absolutely magical!

Granny Moira

On her way back from Canada in September, Moira stopped off with us for a weekend. It was wonderful to see her and we all had a great weekend!

Daniella's New School

As you all know, in August Daniella started her new school. She is doing extremely well and is loving it! Have a look at the "posh" uniform...

The London Eye

Still in London, next stop, The London Eye.

Madame Tussauds

Ok, I know it's a little late, but we also went to London during the summer of August 2008. Firts stop Madame Tussauds.
