More Riding

Daniella rode "Tom" on Sunday, 26th August 2007. He is great fun and full of bounce. The instuctor was rather tickled when Tom stood on Daniella's foot, and instead of pushing him off and screaming, she said; "Excuse me, but Tom is on my foot." What wonderful manners!

Horse Riding

Today, Sunday 19th August 2007, was Daniella's first UK horse riding lesson. She did SO well! During the holidays they spend every Wednesday at the stables, otherwise, she rides every Sunday. Look at all the new kit too... she has been SO spoilt by Grandpere!

A bit of news

On the 2nd August 2007, we went to see Spirit of the Dance in Bournemouth "The Seaside". It was great. Daniella was totally glued to the dancers at all times. Guess who danced around the house for days after that!

We also went to the New Forest Show. Similar to the Royal Show in Pmb. We were lucky enough to see the Kings Troops in action. Daniella's favourite were the miniature horses on show.

On the 12th August 2007, we were invited to the river Test for a barbeque and some trout fishing. After a 10 minute lesson on fly fishing, Daniella had caught a 2.2 pound trout, which we had for dinner. Very good fish! She also lost a baby tooth on the same day, so of course, that night, Oak Goblinfrost left a little fairy and some money in exchange for the tooth. Daniella was so excited when she woke up!

Tomorrow, 19 August 2007, Daniella goes to her first riding lesson. Grandpere bought her boots, jodies and a hat, so she's all ready.

Mom and Germain

We've been staying with my Mom and Germain. It's been great. Daniella has really enjoyed having an "extended" family. She and "Grandpere" go for walks with Cassie, the dog almost every afternoon. I can't believe we've been here for almost 2 months now...

Our little "bullet"

After arriving in England on the 30th June 2007, the first and formost was to get wheels! Well, we ended up getting a zooty blue Peugeut 207 Sport... with all the trimmings. Goes like a little "bullet". It's great to have new wheels!

More Legoland Pics

Legoland

On 9th August 2007, Daniella and I went to Legoland for the day. We went on every ride possible, including roller coasters and water rides. We went to mini Legoland, the Knight's Kingdom and much much more. Daniella got her "driver's Licence" too. Digging for "gold" was hone of the highlights. We had loads of fun!
